Seo-gu Symbol Mark
- 1The Seo-gu Symbol Mark is composed entirely of circular forms, both inside and outside. This design symbolizes Seo-gu as the central district of Daejeon and reflects a resident-centered administration dedicated to public service.
- 2The basic design incorporates the letter “S”, the initial of Seo-gu, together with the Taegeuk motif, symbolizing continuous change, growth, and development. The four divided circular arcs represent Seo-gu’s dynamic expansion and its aspiration to reach out to the wider world.

Seorami (Seo-gu Mascot)
Seorami is the official mascot of Seo-gu. The name combines “Seo” (Seo-gu) and “Daramjwi” (squirrel). Its Chinese-character name is 「西覽」, where 「覽」 means “to look over” or “to watch attentively.”
Inspired by a quick and lovable squirrel, Seorami symbolizes the district’s commitment to carefully looking after its residents and paying attention to even the smallest details of community life.
